Our goal is to provide the best care possible to beloved family pets and working animals,

giving them the quality of life they deserve.

As the only Veterinary Chiropractor in Essex, registered with both the Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practice (RAMP) and the British Veterinary Chiropractic Association (BVCA),

you know you are in safe and well educated hands.

A veterinary Chiropractor is a highly trained professional with specialist training in animals.

We use our hands to assess the neuro-musculoskeletal system by assessing the range of motion

using motion palpation, to determine areas of restricted motion in a particular area, comparing it

to what we would expect as well as within that animal as a whole.

As a complementary treatment for chronic lameness such as spavin, navicular syndrome or tendon problems in the horse as well as arthrosis, spondylosis or tendon problems like cruciate ligament in the dog.

Veterinary Chiropractic can be used for:

Acute problems such as tension or stiffness

Prophylactic treatment to maintain fitness

Maintain soundness in older animals

Enhance performance ability of sport animals

Stance analysis – the new gold standard in lameness assessments.

Chordata Veterinary Chiropractic is the only Animal Chiropractic clinic in Essex that can provide stance analysis data on your pets.

This is a unique tool to us work preventatively with animals that are predisposed to back or limb issues, either through genetics or for those that put high levels of strain on their joints, for example working dogs or those competing in high impact sports such as agility.

Laser therapy – helping animals to heal faster.

Laser Therapy is a new addition to our clinic.

Like humans, animals have a natural repair mechanism, which means that injuries heal up by themselves sooner or later, the problem is that it can often take a long time and be a painful process.

The positive effects of laser treatments are quicker healing, pain relief, increased blood circulation, and reduced swelling.
