Welcome to “Ready… Steady… SLOW?” - a supportive, hands-on speed-building course designed for agility dogs who just aren’t keeping up with the modern matrix. Whether your dog is hesitant, distracted, or simply lacking confidence on course, this program gives you the tools to build drive, direction, and distance — the three pillars of modern agility speed. Over the next 4 weeks, we’ll guide you through short, impactful exercises that help your dog not just move faster, but move with purpose, motivation, and clarity. WHY THIS COURSE? .......Agility has changed. Courses are tighter, faster, and more technical — and that’s left many dogs behind. Not because they aren’t talented, but because they haven’t been taught how to adapt to this new level of complexity and speed. Ready… Steady… SLOW? is here to fix that — without pressure, without punishment, and without over-drilling. You’ll Learn How To: Build your dog’s motivation to run Channel speed into controlled direction Improve obstacle commitment and drive out of turns Track your dog’s confidence and celebrate progress You Only Need: Your dog, A toy or high-value treat, 3–4 sessions a week (10–20 minutes), A willingness to laugh, celebrate, and try new things. Equipment: Cones & Poles / Jumps & Poles and a tunnel (or 2)
